I’ve been using PR as an SEO tool for quite a while, but it is amazing how many SEO professionals leave it out of the strategy. In fact it is so good as a link builder, it almost seems like it should be illegal. A more complete picture of how this strategy can produce results involves weaving PR with social media and adding the same post to your website. There is a good summary available on WebProNews. In my own experience, web PR is good as an immediate link builder but it also has staying power because if it get’s picked up by the press, it can bounce around in ways that will surprise and delight you. So pull together your latest release and then start spreading the news.
